Regarding Sovereignty of God in Salvation,

I feel this is my resolution:

Here is the only possible logical conclusions regards the nature of God and Man in terms of his salvation:

The three questions:

Can Man Save Himself outside of God?
Must God Save Man ?
Must Man Save Himself with the influence God?

1. No, God must influence the individual to see the wonderful news of Jesus.

Next logical question from answer 1.

Is man capable of rejecting the good news once he has seen it ?
a.Man is capable of make "free-will" decisions even with the
influence of God. Therefore rejecting the Gospel.

b. If No, the individual will believe in the truth revealed by
God.

2. Yes, Man can choose to believe in God outside of the influence of God. If so what are his ability to do so over the one that does not believe ? Is it his intelligence, his moral compass, spirituality ?

It is apparent that there is a clear issue of power regarding salvation.

These are solid arguments for each

But then who is in control?

It is either God is in control or Man is in control.


Humanism is the wrong answer :(
Implication: God is at the mercy of man to make decisions regarding their salvation. Man, through his intelligence/spirituality/morality is capable of saving himself.

I feel this is wrong. The bible is clear that God is in control, all knowing all powerful, wonderful savior.
